We stay at the Red Carpet every time we travel by air from JFK. We drive from our home in Ohio to the Red Carpet the night before our flight. Then it is a short hour and a half (or 2 with heavy traffic) to the airport the next day. It works for us. The hotel is clean and safe. We like the staff. It is always a good stay.

Good Enough For The Night

Old re-done motel. Painted, neat, mostly clean. New floors. Old furniture, beds and microwaves. No coffee. Loud AC. TV was good. 1st room was deodorized with a heavy, strong, flowery substance. It was overwhelming, couldn't get away from it... choking. They were calm and kind and changed my room without issue. A bit musty but fine. Lampshade was hanging by a thread. Easy to just change. Mattresses are up on metal platforms that "drum" when you move around on them.

Clean but confusing directions

The room was fine...nothing special but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the address copied from hotels.com site led me to a dirt road and a horse farm. After wandering around, I called the motel and was able to get the correct address.

My room was filthy. There was feces smeared on the toilet tank and front of the toilet bowl. The toilet seat looked like it was 50 years old. The walls had stains, the shower curtain had stains, the bed spread had a stain, the floor wasn't very clean. No idea why this hotel gets any good reviews.

Pretty decent little motel for under $100 a night. Was in town for the air show over the weekend. Room was clean, AC & fridge was cold, bed was pretty comfy. Front desk person who checked me in was nice, & made a new room key for me when mine stopped working. I'm only ever in town for the air show so I'll definitely be back. If you need a cheap, convenient motel I recommend.
