"Came down from my daughter's graduation gift to her stay was amazing. I've stayed multiple times in OBX Surf and Sound were great host two minor things on arrival ( first week of season not our first rodeo we get it ) needed screens for windows and confirm a breaker was off due to lights being replaced. Both were dealt with super quick within hours. Property was clean and location is super couldnt be happier definitely booking again."

"Property was lovely! The stay was exquisite. A small issue with plumbing, but the owners tried to repair it while we were there, but there was another functioning restroom and it worked fine for our stay. The only concern was the difficulty in accessing the house. We managed ok, but was quite difficult to access in the sand with heavy coolers and luggage. A group that may have had mobility issues would surely have had far more difficulty."

"We loved the house. It is such a shame that the homes around it on the beach are falling into the ocean. So sad. It was comfortable and warm in the rainy weather. Your contract rules say there is no use of grills on decks and only on concrete, but there is a grill located on the upper deck. We did not use it, but I thought i would point it out."

"We enjoyed our stay The house clean and presented like the photos. There are a few minor repairs needed. The stove top cooks on high all the time. Corner cabinets doors in the kitchen are coming off the hinges, blinds in the master bedroom and bath on the first floor are incomplete, table in master up stairs is broken and the dryer takes two cycles to dry anything, There is limited large pans for cooking for a larger group, number of towels provided are enough for a day so your doing laundry daily. There’s a trick to locking the doors which we don’t know the first night, you have to lift on the handle in order for the lock to turn. I know I listed a number of items but they are all minor things and can be easily addressed and did not have a negative impact on our stay or opinion of the rental. Other rentals we’ve stayed in had a guest book. This would be a great idea as previous guest and future can write in it and leave tips and experiences for new guests. Items of restaurants, must see or do’s etc."

"Great restful cottage. The wind and waves were fun for a visitor to see but the locals were on edge because of the strength of wind. The waves were entertaining. Rainbows were beautiful! House was very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided!"
