With the pool table, easy beach access, pool/hot tub, and a well equipped kitchen we were able to celebrate my daughter and her friends graduation comfortably with a lot of great memories. "Well the area is great if your looking for a quite family style vacation. Wave's Deli and Lisa's Pizza have great eats. There is a Dollar General right there as well, any other big items you may need are within 15-20min drive to Avon. The property itself is needs some TLC. Pictures in ad are from a few years ago I think. Pool looked pristine in pic's but in reality needed to be refinished but has new furniture. Cleanliness was good but did find baby socks laying on couch and food particles "cereal" in the tray on coffee table. Talked to property MGR and he was very helpful in to resolve any issues that may need to be taken care of. I would not be hesitate to rent this house again if we would return to the Outer Banks. Kitty Hawk is about 30 min and has all the entertainment needs a kid would want."

"This home was amazing. The location was perfect, close to the beach, off the beaten path, but an easy drive to Hatteras, or Nags head. "

"We stayed for a week mid-May, family of 5. Property was as described and pictured. Classic beach/lake house vibe. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. New towels. Great pool with plenty of loungers. There is a very short walk over thru the dunes to the beach, right behind the house, the beach is very quiet and clean, lots of wildlife, crabs, birds....We visited some other beaches further north and this one was much cleaner and much less crowded. Maybe one group of people every 300-400 yards, so much space. This is right before the official season begins, would guess the neighborhood was maybe half occupied There were a couple of broken chairs on the rooftop, we laid down a blanket on the rooftop as we didn't feel comfortable moving the furniture to the top deck. Loved watching the sunrise and stargazing from the top deck and afternoons spent in the shade of the house in the pool. Bedding needs updating and dishes needed cleaned off before use, maybe first stay of the season. We thought it was a great location for visiting the Outer Banks and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We would stay again. Thank you! "

"Three generations of family. Loved watching the sun rise from all rooms. Having the beach all to ourselves and it being just over the dune was perfect. The stroll over the dune can be challenging if you have any problem with walking or breathing. House had everything we needed"
