"The parking lot could be improved. It was more a construction site than an actual parking lot, but that doesn't take away really from the experience, just a minor thing to note. Overall very happy with my experience. The space met my simple needs. Recommended if you're looking for a simple place to stay. Proximity to Rockaway Beach is great!"

"We had a fantastic time in New York, largely thanks to this apartment and the smooth, friendly communication with the host. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the middle of the action, with shops, restaurants, and public transport just around the corner. The apartment itself is a bit dated and shows some wear, but it is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. We would happily stay here again!"

Some small hiccups in a newly refurbed place and first-time rental, for example, soap, salt-pepper, and 3 fun functional restrooms items should help. "Great area, good air conditioning equipment and tv's etc. The basement has the 2nd washroom, water didn't work except for the shower so hopefully that gets fixed soon. WiFi password on the modem was old so I had to contact to obtain the actual password, hopefully that also gets updated. Some of the towels had stains on them which is not a problem to me since I brought my own, but my brother was using it so that was a little disappointing too. Otherwise I'd say it was a great stay for the price...
