"Very unique being a castle. Has to be seen to be believed! It was comfortable. However, Amsterdam has little to offer. Pretty run down, no stores anywhere. Breakfast is not included as the dining room is closed down. Closest place to get breakfast is about a 3 mile drive away. In such a strange place, there is actually a great Italian restaurant almost across the road. The only restaurant around. Glad we saw the castle and experienced it but we will not be back to Amsterdam."

"Property was fine. Old and needs updates. New shower curtains. towels, and sheets would go a long way. Room was clean, staff was very nice. Breakfast needs improvement, too. "

"I do love this place, and would stay there again. My only gripe is that the bathroom fan was intentionally disabled and it stayed foggy and humid for a while. Also, the tub backed up while showering, which is a pet peeve of mine for hotels. I told the desk person on the way out about it, and he did not care in the least."
