"The location of this property is very convenient and the agent managing it was very friendly, but otherwise it was a big disappointment. On arrival it smelled of covered-up-cigarette-smoke, and the entire property really only had a thin veneer of stylist modernity. Lack of upstairs toilet also made it less comfortable than we had hoped."

"Seven of us lived comfortably here for 4 nights. The basic equipment was there. Bedrooms, - there are 2 spacious twins, 1 big double and 1 smaller double where one person has to climb over, but it was ok with lots of storage. 2 large bathrooms were useful. The walk in to Rochester was fine over the Medway bridge, and gave us a different perspective on the area. "

"We never got to go as the property owner had double booked. We only found out a few hours before we due to arrive. Speechless! "

"Communication with host was perfect. The home is great for a weekend stop off. Very good use of space. Very clean. Variety of takeaways on the door step. "

"The exterior of the property is run down and the garden has not been looked after covered in weed's some left over rubble at the end of the garden, all the lights were pulled out and dumped in a heap, there was no BBQ grill in the garden either although listed as having one. The onsite parking is only if your lucky enough to park before local residents come home, you are not guaranteed a parking space, it was very difficult to find parking in the nearby roads. The net curtains were torn and...

"Kitchen in need of a lot of TLC. Property is advertised to sleep 8 however dining table only seats 4 (at a squeeze) and sofas seat 5 (again at a squeeze) with only 3 people at a time able to actually see the TV screen."

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff, couldn't have been more helpful and exactly what I needed in the middle of a busy week travelling and delivering training. Best hotel of my recent trips by miles and great room service which was super convenient and enabled me to focus on working and resting. Next time I will make sure I also make use of the pool and spa :)"

"Stayed here while going to a friends wedding in the local area. Created to really friendly staff and check in was a breeze. The room was compact but had everything we needed, comfy bed and even a little hamper with slippers, teas coffee and milk. Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy. Would recommend if you’re near by."

"Absolutely loved it photos dont do it justice . Ive stayed in many hotels but this had everything for whst i needed at this time . And staff was lovely and friendly despite reading about rude staff i found them all very welcoming and i will be bk if im in the area "

"Lovely, historic pub walking distance from the Chatham Dockyards. Nice rooms, nice staff, great setting. Breakfast was excellent each day. Dinner was even better. Chatham Dockyards are definitely worth a visit and the pub is just a short walk away. Also, Rochester Cathedral and Rochester Castle are a short drive away and touring them made for a lovely day. The area around the pub is very walkable and there is an outlet mall just across the road. "
