"This place met our needs and I would consider staying here again. It was confusing where to check in, but mainly because the door was open and I didn't see the "Office" sign on it. Also, would like to let other guests be aware there is no ice tray or ice maker anywhere on the premises, so I walked to Stewarts just a few steps up the road and purchased our own for $3.69 or something like that. Lastly, the A/C are window units, 1 for each room and I had to unplug the one in our bedroom because it was very loud and kept cycling on and off every 10 minutes or so. There were no fans, which would've been appreciated because I had to turn off A/C."

"I was in a room on the 1st floor because I can't go up a lot of stairs. I was only there for one night. The sign is hard to see at night, that's how I drove right by it. This room came with its own bath which was great. The tub was a bit too steep and needs to have something to mitigate slipping, maybe accessibility bars on the side. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and tidy, I much appreciated that."

"The owner was my guardian angel and I'm so grateful for him! !! I got left in Lake Placid during a bus trip to Niagaa Falls and I ended up in the ER for 12 hours. I ended up being stuck in town with no ride and the only bus route for the weekend wouldve been a 20 hour ride for 4 hrs of distance. I had no money until I got paid the following day. He gave me the room until my check hit the bank which was so kind of him!! Most people wouldn't have hltthe chance"

"My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of magical! Before arriving, the owner Kelly, sent us a "Perfect Placid" list of the areas attractions with things to do and restaurant recommendations. So cool! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed - Kelly and her staff greeted us warmly and offered a quick tour pointing out the cozy common areas and sharing a bit of the Inn's history. The vintage accents and handcrafted furniture made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Our room (Kate Smith) was sooo comfortable, mixing rustic charm and beautiful modern amenities! Our dining experience was spectacular with seasonal offerings that support local farms and vendors. Absolutely delicious and everyone made us feel like family! The location is just minutes from everything, yet it feels like a secluded retreat. We sat on the porch and played cribbage with our wine and handcrafted cocktails. So fun and relaxing! We also visited the village shops, Mirror Lake, and biked the beautiful Adirondack Trail. Our whole trip was simply amazing... and too short! Bottom line, The Stagecoach has historic charm, 5-star dining, and a location that perfectly balances convenience with tranquility. It will warm your soul. We definitely plan to stay again!! Thank you so much for everything Kelly! And a shout out to Heather for the wonderful chats! You're a doll! :)"
