"We were 5 adults on a hiking vacation in the Adirondacks. The house was very comfortable had much more room then we expected . Kitchen was large and fully equipped. Eric responded quickly when we had a problem . One of the nice things about the house is that all the large closets had extra beds which would be great for a few families with children . Overall we were all very happy with our experience in this house"

"i loved that when we communicated with the owners they replied back within a great time. i also loved how they gave us privacy and provided us all essentials. only downfall was how cold the water was when i went to shower and we didn't see any animals ( i am a animal lover)."

"Absolutely beautiful peaceful gorgeous house in the woods but just a few minutes drive to Keene. The upstairs/downstairs setup is perfect for traveling with older kids (tiny kids might need help with the spiral staircase). We saw deer in the yard every day, one snake (!) and tons of tiny frogs, and went on lovely hikes right on the property. We just loved our stay here and will definitely come back!"

"We’ve stayed here several years & always love the location! The house is comfortable & has just about everything you’d need in kitchen, laundry & bath. The fire pit overlooking the river was equipped with a large bundle of firewood & was a wonderful way to spend the beautiful evening with family & friends! A thunderstorm apparently knocked out the TV cable & was not available for the 4 days we were there…but in the end I enjoyed the quiet! We hope to be back again next year to enjoy the beautiful Keene Valley in South his charming home!"

"This wonderful cabin was so comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The location is ideal for an easy trip to Lake Placid, Saranac and Keene/Keene Valley. A quiet and relaxing retreat that is dog- friendly with excellent hosts. A perfect weekend getaway!"

"It was thoughtfully decorated and very well supplied. Warm and welcoming. The appliances and provisions were of high quality. We loved the outdoor shower and would have used the fire pit outside, but it was too hot! We were thankful for the AC units. The house was very clean and the beds and furniture were comfortable. We loved the location and that it was near Stewarts where we could charge our EV car easily, as well as several shops. We brought two dogs and the setting was great for them; big enough yard, etc., and they settled in quickly."

"We were looking for an economical place to stay with limited notice and this worked out well. Owners run an efficient service: check in was easy (even for a late evening arrival) and they provide a convenient grab and go breakfast bag. Room was clean and well equipped (mini frig, microwave and small sink). My only complaint is the condition of the shower curtain…they need a better arrangement to avoid mildew/mold. The shower itself was satisfactory. We never did meet staff in person but the owners communicated well via text."
