Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage. Located just minutes away from the best hikes in the area, including Appalachian Trail, Carver's Gap, and Rhododendron Gardens.
This cottage features three bedrooms plus a large loft that doubles up as the fourth bedroom. Comes with a fully stocked kitchen and game room for all your needs, as well as a charcoal grill that doubles up as a fire pit. Garage has a pool table and corn hole game, as well as a mini golf for a rainy day. Basketball and volleyball, as well as tennis rackets are also provided and can be used in the public park located 5 miles away.
The cottage is located near the entrance to the Roan Mountain State Park, Jarrett's Apple Orchard, and historic Miller Farmstead. Watauga Lake, NC border, ski resorts, golf, and Grandfather Mountain are also nearby. Rhododendron Gardens access is closed during winter for hiking but is open for cross country skiing.

Neat and clean, quiet

Well maintained house with thoughtful touches, well-stocked and organized kitchen. Very well located for experiencing Roan Mtn State Park. Would definitely return.

Wonderful cabin

The cabin was clean and beds comfortable. Everything was there for cooking although we ate at the great restaurants close by.
