Nice stay in Romo for price and location
Staff was friendly. Easy check-in. Basic room, need some upgrades here and there, but charming in its own way. Only issue was the shower needed fixing. Otherwise is was a pleasant experience.

If you have no other option...
The hotel is old and without life or charm. I can say that room 107 was definitely not a winner. But probably better than Stephen King's room 1408. The bed was in a windowless corner between the entrance wall and the toilet wall (a hole - to be more precise, since there was a ceiling where an extra bed on top was formed). That was the only apartment that had it's terrace to the backyard - almost like we were on display to all other guests in the building, that could look at us through their window panels. On that side of the building was a tall and narrow window you could open. The room was so claustrophobic, that in the end, we took the mattress down to the lounge, and slept the whole night with the door to the backyard open to get some air. We managed to get some sleep despite the growling bear (aka. The fridge!). Yes yes, the hotel is in walking distance from the beach. I would though rather stay at Bates Motel next time. Best of luck to you people that don't read reviews.

Rømø er et skønt sted og hotellet ligger fint i forhold til strand, indkøb mm. Desværre er hotellet slidt og ikke specielt hyggeligt. Det virker mere som et hostel, men prisen er jo også derefter.
