"A beautiful setting in the middle of nowhere. Use google not mapquest to get there. There is nothing around you however you can walk the orchard which is very nice especially in the evening. Spa is closed. Looks as if it was never open. Don’t rely on the video they publish. Ok. Rooms are spacious with odd glass bathrooms you’ll be on display when showering. Bed pillows are shockingly flat, the AC remote near impossible to use, the tv is something you’d put out to the curb if it was yours and if you’re lucky to have a Mt. Etna view be prepared for the early wake up call of trains literally running a 100 or so feet from your window. They run every 30 minutes between 5 am and 11 pm. The furniture around the pool while beautiful to look at is extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Now the good. Staff is lovely. They are all trying hard as if they’re trying to make up for some of these deficiencies. The restaurant is Michelin starred and it shows. The meals we had there were as good as it gets in Sicily. Breakfasts were above normal. In summary I would still recommend the hotel. The historic renovated building and the grounds are exceptional."

"This hotel is beautiful and staff was amazing. I had lost my important medication on the plane and the receptionist called multiple pharmacies to assist and I was able to get it the next day. The pool is beautiful and the food was delicious. Our room was beautiful as well. I can’t praise the staff enough, I wish I wrote their names down. The pizzeria two minute walk away was delicious as well. We will definitely be back!"

"Es ist eine sehr schöne und große Ferienwohnung. Wir waren zu 5 dort und hatten alle ausreichend Platz und auch Betten. Die Wohnung stand zu der Zeit unserer Buchung nur für 4 Personen drinnen. Nach einer kurzen Anfrage kam am selben Abend noch die Antwort auf unsere Anfrage. Generell war die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeber Familie sehr gut. Diese sprechen auch sehr gutes Deutsch, den ein oder anderen Tipp für die Urlaubsausflüge gab es auch.Jedoch gibt es auch ein paar Mängel zu beanstanden. Sobald man den Wasserkocher in der Küche benutzt fällt der Strom aus, da die Hauptsicherung rausfliegt und das annähernd jedes Mal obwohl keine anderen Verbraucher ausser der Klimaanlage liefen. Eine Kaffeemaschine und vor allem einen Stellplatz oder gar die Garage wie angegeben existieren nicht. Diese sind also für den Preis nicht in Betracht zu ziehen. Das Fahrzeug muss in den Seitenstraße abgestellt werden, auch ein be- und entladen vor der Tür ist nicht möglich. In der Küche am Wasserhahn gab es auch nur kochend heißes Wasser. Leider gab es auch nur einen Schlüssel für die Wohnung, was bei 5 Personen doch auch Mal zu einem Problem werden kann. Die Küche ist mit dem mindestens wichtigsten Gegenständen ausgerüstet.Den Ausblick der schon oft erwähnten Dachterrasse ist wirkliche hervorragend. Das Meer ist wie angegeben quasi direkt vor der Tür.Allen in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und einen sehr schönen Urlaub verbracht."

"We stayed one night at Alhambra B&B Guest House di Charme and had a very good stay. We received a friendly welcome and a tour of the property when we arrived, and everything was easy from that point on. The property is small, green, and well maintained, and the whole place feels calm, private, and well cared for. The saltwater pool was the highlight. It has underwater jets plus two jets above the water line: one wide jet and one narrow jet with strong, concentrated pressure. The salt water was pleasant to swim in and the jets made it very easy to relax. The rooms are simple and comfortable, with everything needed for a short stay, and the showers have good water pressure, which is not always the case in this type of accommodation. Breakfast was great and matched the standard of the rest of the property. One practical note for future guests: staff are not permanently on site. When we arrived we were unsure how to get in, but we pressed the door buzzer and a member of staff drove over within a few minutes, welcomed us, and opened the gate so we could drive through to the private, gated car park, which had plenty of space. After that everything ran smoothly, so new arrivals should simply expect to use the buzzer. Overall this is a peaceful and well-run B&B with an excellent pool and a great breakfast. It suited a one-night stop very well, and one night was not long enough to make full use of the pool and garden. We would happily return for a longer stay."

"The property was one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed at. This is agritourism at its finest. The location is close enough to all amenities yet retains the quiet Sicilian country charm you'd want. The host went above and beyond to make the check-in smooth and hassle free. I can without a doubt say it was of my favorite places to stay in Sicily to date and cannot wait to come back again. Another amazing benefit is you can explore a lot of close sites like Mt. Etna and Taromina without having to do extensive travelling. Overall the property and host made my stay in amazing and I encourage others to stay here as well."
