"We loved this place!!!! It was like a fairytale. The view from our room was awesome! Also, the servers in the restaurants were friendly and helpful . Our room was cozy, beds comfy, and big for all of us! Three of us stayed and even the couch bed was comfy. We were close to BLM train and not far from cable car. There was hiking and access to the flower park which my kids loved. We hiked to Gimmelwald too Back up actually and it was hard but my kids did it! They even paraglided ! 5 stars!! We didn’t want to leave "

"We had the most wonderful experience at Boutique Hotel Alfina! They made my mom’s birthday so incredibly special. When we arrived, we were surprised with beautiful balloons, a birthday card thoughtfully signed by Tania and Richard, delicious macarons, and chocolates. It was such a heartfelt touch that meant so much to us. The location is conveniently located just a couple of minutes’ walk from the bus station. Our room had a gorgeous balcony with breathtaking views of the lake. It was truly magical and so relaxing, a perfect place to unwind and soak in the scenery. Breakfast was phenomenal. Everything was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The quality and variety were impressive, making every morning a treat. Tania, Richard, and all the staff were so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their hospitality was unmatched. Tania even took the time to help us figure out the best route for our travels and made sure we got where we needed to go without any trouble. We felt so at home and completely cared for during our stay. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to ensure we had the best experience possible. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting the area. "We knew in advance that the hotel was under heavy renovation/construction, but this did not detract much from the stay. The worse (?) was that the panorama of the Eiger N wall from the balcony was somewhat marred by a construction crane (see photo) - not a big deal. We found room to park at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. The room is nicely furnished. One small fault: not enough power outlets around and just one USB outlet. And confusing light switches that operate on a delay and take time to master. The price is high, but so are most prices in Grindelwald"
