Rooms anre a little dated but Every thing you need is there Only thing that we noticed was the overpowering air freshener which was in communal area as well as in the room but noticed the walk in wardrobe had damp on the ceiling so I’m guessing it was to maybe mask the smell "

"It was an amazing stay. Sandra and Juan are the perfect hosts at this most idyllic B&B. They make you feel super welcome and the atmosphere can really alleviate all your stress. Excellent hiking trails all around and the views are spectacular. A special nod to the long breakfasts. Overall a must stay and will definitely revisit!!!"

"Fantastic Bed and Breakfast , Ann & Frank are lovely friendly hosts eager to make your stay memorable. Good breakfast. Beautiful terrace with views down the mountain to the sea. Hot tub a bonus. Super spot for walking the 3 villages of Competa, Canillas and Archez and some great restaurant recommendations from the hosts. Will come again!"

"Me and my husband stayed in room 1 for 1 night and we were blown away by the great standard of La Vieja Botica. The room was excellent, loved the interior. The bed and the linen was luxurious as well as the towels. The host was so sweet and helpful in every way. We would very much recommend this place and would like to come again. "One of most enjoyable (if short!) stays in a long while. La Madrugada is in an enviable position, with wonderful views down towards the sea/coast, and the magnificent surrounding mountains. Marco is a very welcoming host who wants you to enjoy your stay. The breakfasts we had on the patio were an absolute highlight. I hope very much to stay here again and I will highly recommend it. "

"Prachtige locatie met heel mooi uitzicht over het dal. De eigenaren Jan Teun en Ria doen er alles aan om het hun gasten naar de zin te maken. Echt aan alles is gedacht. Overal gezellige zitjes in een prachtige rustige omgeving. Bovendien is er een heerlijk ontbijt, met liefde geserveerd door de eigenaren :-) Echt een aanrader!"
