"This cabin was a wonderful place to stay! It was quiet except for the sound of birds in the woods. The interior of the cabin was clean and well furnished; the bed was especially comfortable. While we didn't make use of the fire pit, the screened porch was our favorite place to sit day or night. Although it might have been too early for them, we felt relaxed on the porch knowing we wouldn't be attacked by mosquitoes or other bugs. We really appreciated the ability to get to Main Street high end restaurants and an ice cream shop that had delicious flavor choices. "The house is in a perfect location to visit the main attractions. Even the house is old, the kitchen and bathrooms were remodeled and the upper house was very clean. The house has a ping pong table in the basement but we didn't use it because the basement was very dirty."

"We had a great time at Old Wagon Lodge. It was well stocked with everything we needed and the property manager was so nice and easy to communicate with. We had rain during our trip which was the perfect excuse to stay in all day and have a family gaming tournament in the game room. The game tables were perfect for our two boys age seven and ten. "Our stay was very relaxed, the property is in a nice location, nestled in the woods, with a nice amount of lawn in the front. We enjoyed the wildlife, and explored Luray caverns and some of the Shenandoah mountains. The cabin is very simple, but sufficient, and has essentials, although a cabinet somewhere would have been convenient. Thank you for making our great week possible, it was a blessing!"

"This cabin was very comfortable and clean! The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. The views from the inside are just as spectacular on the outside. While the house is not directly on the reiver that was okay. We figured it would be hard to find a house right on the river with amazing views of the mountains off in the distance. The walk down to the river is not bad. It takes about 7 or so minutes. I highly recommend boots or something other than standard shoes if you go before the dew...
