"We spent Xmas and New Years at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. This is an ideal place to completely unwind and relax. The forest is 2 minutes away. We were lucky we had snow, and we took winter walks in the forest. The cabin is cozy and had lots lots of character. Thre are fantastic views of the forest from the upstairs balcony. The balcony was also ideal to see in all the New Year's Eve fireworks. Udo and his family were very welcoming. Thank you we had a fantastic time at the cabin."

It has a traditional feel and design with stone walls, but also had all the modern conveniences. It is on a shared property with the family that owns it, but is set back on its own so it still feels quite private. The hostess, Erika, is wonderful. "Comfortable and relaxing, unfancy. Spacious kitchen/diner and large shared bathroom. Sauna and washing machine welcome. Good for groups, with many historic sites nearby. Caretaker very obliging. A few more kitchen utensils and flyscreens on the windows might be an idea."

"Mein Aunfenthalt war sehr gut. Die Ferienwohnung hat alles was man braucht. Klein, aber Fein! Es war für mich und meine zwei kleinen Kinder genügend Platz und für die Kids gab es genügend zum spielen, toben und ein eingezäuntes Gelände. Den Kindern hat es auch sehr gut gefallen. Diese Wohnung war sauber, aufgeräumt und genügend Handtücher waren auch vor Ort. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung vom stressigen Alltag sucht, ist dort am besten aufgehoben. Nichts für Partysuchende! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen...
