Second time staying here and things are just fine! The receptionist was very courteous and delivers excellent service. He made you feel very welcome and well taken care of. The room is a little old, needs upgrading in several places, but it's just a typical motel in mid of the desert. The sink water could be turned up a bit higher. Otherwise, nothing much to mention.

Clean and Comfortable

Clean and comfortable hotel in Ridgecrest. The rooms were well stocked with all necessary supplies. The surrounding area was safe and easy to navigate to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.

awesome stay!!

staff was amazingly helpful and polite. they filled everyone of one of my requests. the beds were super comfortable. the owner was very helpful and took out safety very seriously.

No ice machine - now is summer on the edge of Death Valley w/ temps over 100f. Swimming pool is empty turquoise concrete hole in the ground. The back 1/4 of the property is ghettoesque 2 garbage dumpsters sitting on on desert dirt and loose garbage strewn about. Saw another customer tear up bottom of front bumper because of elevation difference between roadway and parking lot. The staff was friendly.

Picture was not our room. Toilet wouldn’t flush, floor and counter was Dirty and needed upgrading. Everything very dated. Exterior was dark & scary. Reception man was very kind and polite but not versed in using third party bookings and had to call owner to straighten out our issue, which he promptly did. We did not stay a second night.

*I won't stay there again. *I'm usually ok with 'basic' but this place is/was very bad. *Very basic room. *All I care about is a place to sleep/shower that's clean and safe - didn't happen this time. *Price point was good -but- *Dangerous A/C nema 6-20 wall receptacle and plug. *Plug was partly melted and taped heavily (see attached pictures). *A/C unit grill was broken. *A/C - does it work, I didn't try. *Curtains didn't completely cover the outside window. I used a bath towel over the exposed pot. *Water cups, none found. *Towel wall holder - almost fell off the wall, very loose. *Walls need a deep cleaning and fresh paint. *Coffee pot is present, no coffee and cream. *Refrigerators electric cord plug, ground pin missing, was cut off. Why? *Does it work? Unknown as I didn't use it. *General info: *No carpet *Door key is a physical key, not electronic. *Smoke detector (ceiling) is present. *Final thought, I'm surprised the Fire Department hasn't red tagged this hotel.

The room was grossly neglected and in need of numerous repairs. Shower stall had flaking psint over tile, leaking fixtures, and most egregious of all No Hot Water! Proprietor tried to use excuse that it was because "it's winter" (daytime temps in Ridgecrest are in the 70s). Proprietor was also very impolite and unprofessional. Kept interrupting me when I spoke. Don't stay at this dump.

If all you need is a bed, a shower and AC then this is the best place for the price. You get what you pay for. The rooms don't have the best looks and the coffee machine didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while but there were no bugs or anything that will get you sick. Its a cheap room and the area seemed safe, nothing more.
