This was the most downmarket Baymont we stayed in. The floors were not carpetted and the bed was on a metal frame that sounded off every time it was touched by a foot. Airconditioner was old and noisy but the staff were lovely and friendly. Plus side, breakfast at Denny's provided.

Best night's sleep all vacation

Looks like a recent refurb - new towels new shower curtain, freshly painted etc. Could not fault anything. Breakfast was at Dennys across the road, which made a nice change from usual hotel food.

Checking in was super easy and the front desk clerk was very nice. Large room very clean fridge, microwave, tv! Comfortable King Bed, good water pressure. Convenient location. Would stay there again.

Great place for an overnight

Nice, clean, well-kept, inexpensive, and comes with breakfast at nearby Denny's. Lunch & dinner options easy to walk to. We had never stayed in Ridgecrest, but if we're near here again we'll stay at this hotel...the next day we hiked in the nearby hills and visited Trona Pinnacles. All-in-all a great visit all around!

Plenty of close, well-lit parking. Nearby grassy areas for dog walking. Many fast food options nearby. My room was towards the front so there was lots of street noise. The window curtains were slightly torn off the rod so the bright outside lighting came in to the room.

Good place for the price

Overall the stay here was very good! It was a wonderful place to stay on the way to Death Valley the next day. It’s located very conveniently next to a lot of things including stores and restaurants. Coffee maker was broken so they offered me a free voucher to Denny’s right across the street for a complementary breakfast and coffee. I thought that was a nice gesture. The only thing negative was the lock seemed to be very loose and looks like the screws were coming loose. Although I wasn’t uncomfortable in the neighborhood, it felt safe staying here, but it was just a little strange.

The room was clean, and the bed, comfortable. The water temperature for the shower was not warm enough for my liking, and towels were small. Deadbolt was not functional. It took 2-4 tries to open the door with the key card.

Newer updates of an older property. Because of the updates there are adequate plugins for electronics that we carry these days. I loved the Denny’s coupons for breakfast. There’s a special menu just for the hotel and has about nine choices on it Denny’s across the street and about a block away. I had been on the road for 12 days and ended up in Three hotels where the air conditioner didn’t work properly. My room at the Baymont air conditioner worked perfectly. One thing they might think about adding our grab bars in the bathtub area or a nonslip surface or possibly a bathmat. I’m older and very conscious of this so ended up putting the bathmat in the bottom of the bathtub. I really appreciate it opening the door early in the morning before the sun came up and it looked like it was daylight because there are so many outdoor safety lights!

Check in was fine and the front desk clerk was friendly. Other than that, I was completely disappointed… not that I was expecting a lot. First room didn’t have a working television or remote. After getting a remote from front desk, got an error screen requiring directv access code. Front desk clerk tried to help but ended up moving me to a different room with two queens instead of the reserved king. Room was not particularly clean and had peeling caulking in the bathroom, cracked grout falling out between tiles, toilet paper roll was behind toilet nearly two feet away, water pressure wouldn’t have rinsed food off a dinner plate. It was a long day of driving and I just wanted a comfortable place to crash. Too much hassle for what was received.
