"For an old school "motel" is was super clean and very well taken care of over the years. A wonderful deck to hang out on by the water with lots of seating. Its rare to find an indoor & outdoor pool like it has. The bath towels were to die for, so soft and plush. The electronics were up to date and a generous size tv with plenty of channels. The proximity to the village of Cooperstown was less than a 10 min. drive along beautiful RT 80. There is no Verizon cell service at this location. It is well worth a stay!!!"

"Everything was more tha. satisfactory. The room was clean the staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. The area was very well maintained. Would definitely stay here again. My only suggestion would be the television service. The television worked however, there was no guide or anyway to know which channels were available. For example I put in what was supposed to be HBO and it was as in fact BET. Every channel was incorrect. "

"It’s very clean, affordable, and conveniently located. You won’t find any key cards (old fashioned key!) or other modern amenities here but it gets the job done! "

"I had a room in the main house, built in the 1860s and loved it. They tried to keep some of the old world charm in the room with a huge tall queen size bed with a big pile of pillows, original cast iron radiator and even the slightly squeaky wood floors under the carpet. If you love old houses like i do, you'll love the old timey atmosphere. With mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room you also had your modern touches. It was clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. "
