Summary:
This is truly a perfect place for leisure or business travel. Previous guests have reserved the my place for romantic getaways, conference or convention attendance (super close to the convention center), surprise birthday or anniversary getaway, Girls Night getaway, live concerts or theater shows, brewery tours, restaurants and cool attractions, Parents Weekend at one of the many close by universities, graduations, weddings…you name it!

The Space:
The Space is very spacious and cozy. It fully furnished and comfortably hosts up to 4 people.
⭐Bedroom: It has a very comfortable pillow top king size bed with a smart Tv, reading chair, dresser. dedicated working desk.
⭐Livingroom: 55 inches TV with HULU and Disney+, comfortable couch which easily converts to a full-size bed.
⭐Bathroom: spacious walk- in shower with provided shampoo and body wash, hair dryer.
⭐Kitchen: fully stocked kitchen. Electrical stove and oven, toaster and full-size refrigerator. We provide pots and pans, silverware, etc.
⭐Coffee bar: k-cup maker with roasted coffee creamer and sugar.
⭐Internet: High speed WI-FI internet.
⭐Parking: large parking lot behind the house access to alleyway. Additionally free street parking that always very easy to find the parking spot in front of the house as well.

Guest Access:
The parking lot is behind the building in the backyard, after you park, you can get to the front entrance through either left or right-side gate. This apartment is on the 2nd floor. you will have one parking space in the backyard, you can park any spot you like, for the 2nd car you can park on the front free street parking, please keep in your mind that you need watch out the street sign as city has a regular schedule for street cleaning.
There are shared spaces you can enjoyed as well (front porch, backyard, laundry room in the basement).

Other Things to Note:
About smoking: it is NOT allowed inside of the building, feel free to do so on the front porch and use the provided ashtray for disposing of the waste.

About cooling/heating: We have central AC/heating system. The thermostat is located in the different room, we can help you adjust the temperature remotely as your desire, just shoot us a message. we also provide the space heater and fan in the closet as extra comforts.

Trash bin is located behind the backyard.

We spent just one night to break up a super long road trip down I95 and it was perfect. It is close to the interstate, there is ample free parking, no extra charge for our 3 cats (most places limit to two pets and usually for a fee), a comfy king bed plus a full kitchen, living room and large bathroom. Check in was simple via a keypad entry with personalized code. Though we didn’t get out to see the town, it was central, close to the science museum, and yet on a quiet street. The building is old but nice and clean. I would definitely stay there againn.

My husband and i were in town to visit our son for 3 nights. I chose this apt because of the location and vrbo comments. I was so glad we chose to stay here because it was perfect. It was very clean and comfortable and so easy to get to restaurants, museums, etc. Its on a beautiful street with lovely homes so a quiet area. All pictures and descriptions on the vrbo site were just right. The owner also was so quick to respond and helpful. It's one of the best places we have stsyed in Richmond. If we ever return we will definitely stay here again.

We were in Richmond for the girls 1A state basketball tournament. Our stay was wonderful. Very clean, great location to Siegel Center, had everything in apartment that we needed. I highly recommend if you are coming to Richmond that you stay at this location.

We loved everything about this apartment and our time in Richmond. The check-in process was easy, parking was close and we LOVED the design of the apartment. Bedding was some of the best plus a kitchen with all the necessities including snacks, coffee and wine. We will be back and will DEFINITELY stay here again.

My stay at Mei and Erik's place was just what I needed. The space was comfortable, the building had that magical charm that comes with a 100+ year old building, and the location was perfect! As a solo traveler, safety is always at the top of my list. With parking behind the building, I felt quite safe. I'd come back again.

Location was great. Access was great. Parking is convenient. The bed felt like an air mattress. The room was freezing the first night. I asked to raise the heat but quickly realized the living room was the only room that would heat up. So the room was still cold. I then tried the space heater but that would only heat things within a 2ft radius. Thank fully it wasn't cold out side the next night if not we would have been freezing again. Also, what's the point of a cleaning fee if you still have to take your own trash outside. Placing it in the trash bin inside should be sufficient, especially since this is a consistent rental space and not where someone lives.

This is an old building but the unit was clean and as pictured. If you're looking to cook a meal it really is lacking counter space, not many dishes, pans or utensils. A bureau in the bathroom would really help as the bathroom is large but only has a small vanity with a sink.
