Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. "Das Objekt liegt sehr weit oben im Ort an einer Sackgasse. Zufahrt (letztes Stück) sehr steil. Unser Mietwagen ist mit 3 Personen und Gepäck kaum den Berg hochgekommen. Der Ausblick ist nicht wirklich super, weil ein Dach vom vorgelagerten Haus die Sicht teilweise versperrt. Der nächste (gute) Supermarkt war ca. 5 bis 6 km ganz unten im Tal am Strand entfernt.
