"Historical hotel in a great location in the Altstadt. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has great regional offerings. Please note, some of the rooms only have a window to an indoor hallway and not the outdoors. I apparently unknowingly signed up for such a room. When I raised it with hotel staff, they quickly gave me a different room with windows to the outdoors. However, I was lucky they had such a room available as the hotel is very popular."

"Was disappointed bar was shut at 5pm as lone female didn’t want to wander too far on my own. Cleanliness was great, room basic but comfy, staff helpful. Ideal location to where I wanted to be so would definitely rebook. Tea and coffee would be great in the room but that’s my preference and not a criticism."

"The hotel was quite quiet being late January but it was clean and well organised like most hotels in Germany. The underfloor heating the room was nice. The desk staff were very helpful and I look forward to visiting again in the summer"
