"Nice bed—wide and comfortable. Room was quiet—little noise from neighbouring rooms or corridors. And a QUIET cooler/heater—what an innovation! Although the shower itself was nice—stationary overhead outlet plus handheld one, plenty of rods for old people to hang onto—it was a drag to have to mop the bathroom floor and take care not to slip after coming out. A bit of a rim between the shower and the room, or even just a full-length curtain would have helped. And when two guests are sharing a room, it is nice if there are two chairs there, so that both persons can sit down at the same time."

"Clean room but lots of highway noise on the front side of the hotel, as well as rude guests talking loudly in hallway at night. Breakfast was ok but not replenished after large bus tour came through."

"For an overnight accommodation the proximity to restaurants was excellent. The hotel was clean, rooms were of good size and the front desk staff were excellent. Amenities were minimal but the location made up for it. Some noise from the hall and upstairs room was noticeable around 6am."

"Everything was great. It's a beautiful old building that has been renovated and kept up beautifully. The location is great, just off the main street. We also ate in the restaurant at the hotel and the dinners we had (steaks) were excellent!"
