"We had a lovely time at Bodmin Jail. Very quirky mixing high end finish with old cells. It does feel likw youre staying in a piece of history. Breakfast was also really great 👍 "

"Great hotel! All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. There was plenty of breakfast food, full English or a continental option. You could have both and go back for more, self-service. The evening meals were excellent. Compliments to the chef. One, two or three courses at a reasonable fair price. Nicely presented, with quick service. Parking was £8 for 24 hours. The pool isn’t huge but it's okay. Extra towels can be collected from reception. The small gym was a bonus. It has a good selection of exercise machines and weighs. There was evening entertainment in the bar which started at 8.30 and finished at 10.30, (vocalist or entertainers) We read some of the negative reviews and some are really not fair or true. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Newquay. Well done to everyone at the Kilbirnie Hotel. "

"My friend and I stayed 4 nights. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Breakfast had varied options and was very tasty. Bar staff were friendly.The bathrooms were beautiful and our rooms were very clean and quiet. We were within easy walking distance of plenty of food options, three beaches, Coastal path and public transportation for day trips. I would recommend this hotel to anybody.
