"The communication prior to arriving was excellent and the self check-in process very easy and helpful due to our 10pm arrival. The room itself was extremely tired and very basic. The bed was hard which I found particularly uncomfortable for our 5 night stay. The room was advertised as being sound proofed, which was one of the deciding factors when choosing this hotel, due to travelling with a child and knowing how noisy it can be in central Rome. It definitely was not sound proofed..probably one of the noisiest hotels I have ever stayed in. The pipes were so noisy, as was the busy street outside and the people moving around constantly in the floors above. The location of the hotel was fantastic. 10-15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. The room itself was clean and beds were made up every day which was an added bonus. I'm not sure why the photos of this hotel show a breakfast room as there is no option of breakfast...very misleading... All in all, if you're happy for a basic level hotel in a convenient location, then this is a good option."

"This hotel is in poor condition and does not meet basic expectations for cleanliness or upkeep. The room had a noticeable odor, air conditioning issues, and worn furnishings.  It showed significant signs of neglect, including stained carpets, peeling paint, and an unsatisfactory bathroom condition. The traffic and sirens could be heard loudly even with the windows closed. Service was also below standard. The front desk clerk, Mario, was unprofessional, condescending, and unhelpful during multiple interactions, providing minimal assistance and demonstrating a lack of basic customer service. Overall, the property requires substantial improvements in both maintenance and staff training. In fact, the experience was so bad that we ended up checking out after the first night and moving to a different hotel, even though it meant having to pay for the 3 remaining unused nights. We preferred paying twice rather than spending another night here. "

"The cabin was nicely equipped, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated the more out-of-town location for the quiet at the end of long days in the city. The two bedroom cabin was perfectly sized for our family of five. While only a few of the amenities on the property were open for the season, what was there (market, cafe) were great."

"This is a beautiful hotel from the 1870s. It’s a lovely area of town. The staff were very helpful by getting us a taxi and taking care of our luggage storage. We loved our room with a little outdoor terrace. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "
