"It was cheap but not cheerfull. I had low expectations due to the price, on the plus side the bedding and towel were clean. The room and corridors are shabby and in need of an overhaul. The worse thing was a shower which did not get warm at all. No amount of adjustment got anything but freezing cold water. It's a shame as it would have been cheap and relatively cheerful had the shower worked. Reception were apologetic."

"I booked online for my family of 6 with 4 small children. They woke us up in the MIDDLE of the night to tell us we had to many kids in our room and we would have to get a second room. My children were all happy sharing 2 twin beds top and tails. I just wish someone would have mentioned it at check-in while we were ALL standing there. So it doubled our cost and I had to stay in a hotel room without my husband and oldest son. Not family friendly or enjoyable. At all. "

"The room was clean and comfortable. Great shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and fresh. The bar was OK but could have been better staffed. An overall pleasant stay."

"Communication about flat location was confusing so we needed to phone for advice. Inside the property was neat and comfortable, but not as clean as we’d have liked. Milk sachets in fridge over a year out of date! Smart TV couldn’t just be turned on to reach BBC/ITV etc, and no TV instructions available inside property."

"It was an amazing stay. Really enjoyed staying at Matties Loft. Accommodation included all the facilities you would standardly require and more on a trip and was super clean. Host was really great and friendly, we felt welcomed. Should mention that our dog also really enjoyed the trip also as we took advantage of the lovely countryside walks and beautiful scenery. We would stay again :)"

"Very nice and welcoming. Great area and wonderful area. Host always replied quickly as well. Loved it and may come again. Only downer was there was no Netflix app to use and watch."
