"I was there 2 nights for a weekend training course. I was in Room 222, directly above the swimming pool. I arrived Friday around 4 pm & didn’t notice noise. I left at 5 & returned at 10 pm. The room was quiet earlier, but became very noisy between 6-10 pm. Once the pool closed, the room was quiet. Breakfast was good enough, eggs, sausages, pancakes etc. although the coffee was terrible & there was only 2% cream. I came back to the hotel around 6 pm. On Saturday. 6-8 children/young teens were racing up & down the stairs, knocking on random doors, including mine! After 10 minutes, I went to the front desk & they said they would deal with it & it was resolved quite quickly. Saturday night there was a lot of noise (screaming, etc) coming from the pool below. I considered changing rooms, but it was late. It stopped by about 9:30 pm. The bed & pillows were comfy. The shower was great. However the shampoo & conditioner were low quality & made my hair dry. I bought new products for the second night. The dark out curtains were great & room was very quiet from 10 pm to 8 am. Avoid staying in Room 222 All in all it was a good stay."
