"This is one of the best hotels we have stayed 3 nights in. The room was full of character, the bathroom spotless, our meal in the Locanda restaurant superb and we even enjoyed the 15 minute uphill walk into Assisi! The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Beatrice on reception and the breakfast room manager Petra. The grounds are peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended"

"Our stay at Borgo della Marmotta was amazing. The staff across the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly, the food was excellent and affordable, and the property and rooms were tastefully decorated and kept spotless. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Renting a car is highly advisable, as transport links are poor and hard to navigate. "

"Such a lovely spot, set in olive groves at the foot of the western edge of the hilltown of Assisi, just below the Bascilicas of San Francesco. Wonderful communication from the host, sparkling clean, easy access. Right across the road is the pedestrian road (climb!) up to the basilicas and town. Good exercise! Also right next to a gravel road that meanders through the valley, for flat walks. I loved staying at La Piaggia."

"Posto incantevole in mezzo alla natura ma allo stesso tempo in una zona centrale da cui abbiamo potuto raggiungere agevolmente moltissime città e punti di interesse. Abbiamo soggiornato in due famiglie con 2 e 3 figli e gli appartamenti modulabili hanno consentito sia la privacy per ogni nucleo famigliare sia la condivisione degli spazi grazie ad una porta, che all'occorrenza si poteva aprire mettendo in comunicazione i due appartamenti. "We were absolutely delighted with Agriturismo Sasso Rosso. First of all, their location, midway between Assisi and Spello on a quiet road is wonderful. The place is actually a small farm and produces olive oil, several varieties of wine and a very good grappa. Claudia is a wonderful hostess, friendly and engaging. We were fortunate to have her father join us for a very good dinner and he told us all about the farm, the wines and oil and some local history (did I mention the grappa?). There...

La struttura è a conduzione familiare e ciò ti permette di sentirti a casa , i proprietari molto cortesi e ospitali, l’uso della piscina è autonomo come l’ingresso e l’uscita della struttura.
