"We had a wonderful stay in Grindelwald although the weather had other ideas but on the last evening and morning just magnificent looking directly at the Eiger. Karen and Marcus were wonderful hosts and the property was spotlessly clean, beds super comfy and the view from our private patio was outstanding. I still have goosebumps thinking about it. We will be back as so much more to do. Easy to get around by bus and train so no car required and close to town and terminal"

"We love staying at private properties to get a better feel of the culture. I really loved this little place and wanted to give 5 stars but due to the heater being constantly on, the air conditioning unit not properly vented, and it being summer, we were miserably hot. All we could do was open all the windows with the fan blowing which then let in hoards of large flies and everyone on the street could see into our bedroom. With constant heat pumped into the room, even with temps in the low 60s,...

"We enjoyed our week long stay here. We never got tired of the great view of the Matterhorn! The apartment was clean and very close to restaurants, grocery stores and ski lifts. We had 2 couples so each had their own bathroom which was nice. We were able to walk to everything. Although there is no washer/dryer, it was easy to use a laundry service nearby (Mundizia). We would definitely stay here again if we ever get back to Zermatt!"

"The location of the place was ideal for hiking and getting to many attractions in the area. We enjoyed being out of town where one could enjoy the falls and river. Accommodations had everything we needed and the bus took you from the rails basically to the doorsteps of the place. Would stay there again."

"Chalet was as described. Fantastic views and location. Checkin process having to travel to the Interhome office when arriving by train with luggage is very challenging. "

"Although the apartment is compact it is well thought out. Having two bathrooms was a real plus. The kitchen has everything you need. Proximity to the station was an important point. We had excellent weather so spent our days out in the beautiful area. We would especially recommend going up the Hasliberg lifts out of Meiringen and taking the bus from Meiringen to Scharzalp for lunch at the mountain Inn and then another bus to Grosse Scheidegg down to Grindelwald."
