"Regarding the location, I can say that it’s not one of the most convenient one’s. But, worth just for the view. I would definitely recommend NOT to stay in a room with 6 people. The house is a bit old, so you keep hearing the floor cracking so it’s hard to sleep with so many people walking around the room. Other than that, the breakfast is good, staff friendly and place always clean. "

"This hostel has a beautiful view and is right on the lake. But the WiFi situation is terrible! No WiFi in the rooms and poor signal in the common area. The property is also right next to the train tracks, and the train goes by often and way into the night. "We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alpenruh!! Cannot say enough about this beautiful area! We had a perfect balcony looking across at the Monch Eiger and Jungfrau - you cannot beat that! Was so fun to see it at all times of the day and night. The room was spacious and very comfortable and it is right next to the Cable car, so very convenient for travelling the area and we were not bothered by any noise. We also had a wonderful dinner in their restaurant!"
