"We were looking for an overnight stay during our travel from Napier to Auckland. The Waitomo Lodge is conveniently located on the edge of the small town of Te Kuiti, which provides convenient stores, Cafes & many Takeaway options. It is also a short drive to the famous Waitomo Caves. The Lodge itself had a Warm & Welcoming ambience. The gentleman (who I would assume was the Property Manager), greeted us with a great big smile and genuine personality. Rooms were clean, spacious and fully equipped with all the basics. TV's in both main room & kids room had Netflix, etc. Beds & Pillows were lovely and comfortable, best sleep all week!! Traffic, particularly big trucks, could make the stay a bit noisy (we were a bit further off the main road, would hate to be in unit 1 or 2). Full blockout curtains would just take this room to the next level of comfort. Thank you! "

"We loved our stay here! The location was perfect for visiting the caves and eating a great meal after! The kitchen was perfect for us to make a quick breakfast before leaving for our next adventure! The only issue was the heater made banging noises all night."

"Great place to stop over on the way to Hobbiton or when traveling. Only stayed one night but the room was clean and had everything we needed for our family. Right off of the road and near grocery and restaurants."
