"Please train your bar staff in the correct way to prepare pour and use the correct glass for the beverage.A j20 in a pint glass Guinness in a cider pint and spirits and mixers in half pint glasses is not good .Your GM or bar manager is letting the hotel down its basic bar tending I have 32 years experience in hospitality it didn't look good .The staff do their best but the hotel looks tired and in need of investment gardens are untidy paintwork peeling it's a shame for such a great location .Try...

"Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her."

9. ذا لوبستر بوتس - ريتفورد

"Cosy rooms above a quaint pub in the centre of Retford. The room itself was comfy and clean with a huge bed, nice selection of mini-toiletries and refreshments, and a convenient code-based smart lock on the door. The staff were very friendly and welcoming on check-in. Check-out is self-organised and very easy. It was a little noisy until around midnight, but since I was staying above a pub on a Saturday night, that's only to be expected. There is a small shared kitchen space near the rooms...
