Charming and very well-appointed, immaculate, comfortable and welcoming home in a wonderful location. The history behind this house is presented throughout and added to our enjoyment. Location can’t be beat in terms of convenience and walking access to UNC Chapel Hill and Carrboro. Everything about logistics was easy and straightforward including access to the house and parking. This was the perfect place for our annual reunion.
House was great. The location was perfect and the house was cozy but still had room for the entire group to gather. Communication with the host was sort of spotty since I was directed to the portal for a couple of things I needed direct answers on, but nothing was an emergency, so no big deal. House was well stocked and had easy parking for 4 vehicles.
Great property in a fantastic location - stayed with our young children and was fantastic. Clean house, and walking distance to everything needed. Looking forward to staying here again!
Host was great. House was in a perfect location. Not only was the house beautiful, the history and photos throughout the house was fascinating. I wish more vrbo’s did that.
Beautiful historic home in walkable neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Labels on cabinets and light switches were helpful! Loved sitting on the front porch swing.
A great place to stay! The home was beautiful and rich in culture. On the walls were wonderful pictures and blurbs detailing the significance of the people and local history. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of mugs, dishes and silverware (enough for 12). Across the street is Brandwein's Bagels that taste like they came from NY. We walked one block to Franklin Street where we explored the UNC campus, ate and shopped. We hope to be back soon.
We were in the area for a lacrosse tournament! The location of the house was fantastic for exploring Franklin Street! The beds were very firm and one bed was on a bit of a tilt as the floor seemed to be a little off level. We also had a little issue with the hot water for showers. Overall it was a great location and a clean house.
We loved the location. House was quite quiet inside given its proximity to a busy intersection and Franklin Street. We would have liked a few more spices in the kitchen and the host indicated they would address that for future guests. We were 5 people my wife and I, son and his girlfriend and our daughter. All adults but would be great for family with children as well.Thank you
Beautiful home. My family greatly enjoyed our stay. All the thoughtful details, culture and history on display were a great bonus. Will definitely stay again.
