We ended up calling Expedia to report the issue and requested that it be resolved the next day. However, when we returned from our outing the next day, we found that not even the towels had been replaced. On top of that, there was a terrible sewage smell coming from the bathroom. My husband poured water down the floor drain, which temporarily solved the issue. It seemed like the room hadn’t been used in quite a while. Breakfast was another disappointment—it was so poorly prepared that it actually irritated us while we were eating. The only things we could bear to have were coffee (which was weak and pre-made) and some yogurt.
