"Pros: A beautiful historical building, friendly welcome and loads of parking for a charge of £13 a night. Comfortable bed with good cotton linen and a great shower. In a very central location for restaurants, shops and numerous tourist attractions. We were catching an IOM ferry which was an easy 15 minutes away by car. Overall fairly priced too.
Cons. The website described at least 2 on-site restaurants, but there was only one serving a self service buffet, which we passed on. Glad we did, as breakfast was very disappointing. Plenty of choice, however the cooked part was all overcooked to the point of being burnt, particularly the sausage, black pudding and bacon. A shame as that was the lasting impression."
