"Very beautiful location. The lodge is as described lovely and quiet. If there is noise it may either be the speed boats or jet ski's on the lake which was there at the time. There was some beautiful doggies in the neighbours cabins. There is also a fantastic bar and grill literally a 4 minute walk away next to a play park (literally you drive past them as you enter the area) that had live bands which was fantastic (also great food, dog friendly and overal friendly). The cabin was really well kitted out with everhthing you need. Needs a tiny bit of updating but nothing major. Love the fact that each room had it own onsuite with both a bath and shower, the bathrooms where very clean which is a super bonus from me. Only small complaints had from those staying with me. Was the some of the mattresses where a little uncomfortable, some little niggles but nothing absolutely major and didnt bother at all really. The tv connection was not great with some of the apps and kept cutting out mid movie. But by all means that was still not any problem to rate this place any lower than 5 stars. Very nice and would very much like to come again the future with the family."

"This is a great value B and B. Although over a pub and close to a main road, very quiet. The pub serves good pub meals, reasonably priced and the staff are very cheerfull. Breakfast was good and the rooms are pleasantly decorated and clean. A great place to stop if you are in the area. The atmousphere in the pub was freindly but not in anyway rowdy. "

"Spacious, pool area great but cover in need of repair. Table tennis table broken. Great trampoline. Lovely paddock area with a family of deer and Melissa the duck. Kitchen area excellent, lots if fridge space which in hot weather is essential! Bedrooms ok just a little tired. One shower head in the little en suite hanging off. But bathrooms on the whole nice. Waitrose nearby which was great. Location a little out of the way couldn’t walk anywhere really. On the whole we had a super time, the pool and garden area great. "

"I arrived late due to work, and was met with nothing but warm welcome. I went straight to bed as an early start. I was offered breakfast at 7:30 so I could get on my way, which was cooked fresh and was brilliant. Top people, I’ll be back. "

"The communications throughout have been fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. I was I able to leave our car in their car park well before check in time. With it being Sunday I was unable to book a Taxi to our granddaughters christening. Staff very kindly offered and drove us the 12 miles to the church! Absolutely outstanding!!!! The whole experience was fantastic and I highly rercommend the Pig Shed Motel for beautiful rooms, very tranquil location and outstanding customer service!"
