"Most beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Our room was beautifully appointed. Rooms are named after books, the views were amazing over the sea. Beautiful clear night skies, and easy to get to and from in a hire car. The food, made lovingly by Maria Sofia, was incredible! "Brilliant stay. Not too far from the airport if you have a car but feels like a million miles away from Lisbon, perfect if you want to get away from it all. Great base if you want to visit the beaches in the south/west. We really appreciated the breakfast. In the middle of the national park - we saw animals every morning. Hosts we first rage and couldn’t do enough for us."

"I booked purely for the pool but the setting of the place in its own valley surrounded by greenery is possibly one of the best spontaneous bookings I've made. For 3 days I only left the pool to eat it was that relaxing. Great staff too. "

"We stayed three nights in this beautiful hotel. We were greeted warmly by the entire staff, made to feel very much at home, and awakened to an amazing breakfast, each day, just for us! The grounds and the gardens made for a magical stay would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Sintra. :)"

"This Hotel is a beautiful property. I think they are under staffed. We ordered food at the restaurant and waited over 1 hour and 15 minutes to get food. Then the Brownie dessert was described as brownie with vanilla ice cream and banana foster but it came out with Strawberry ice bream and I think some berried (no Banana foster). The brownie was cold and the food was mediocre at best. "

"Very nice and spacious rooms. Ours had a mini kitchenette. Great quality bedding. Rooms have a heat pump! Yay AC! Breakfast was included and was excellent 7-11am each day. Pool area was very nice, we didn’t used it but did sit out. Water is not heated. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location - walkable to lots of things. "
