Stay here! To see national park and the beach. Shuttle bus for <$1 goes up the (only) road to other M.A. restaurants, hotels and Quepos. With a car: free parking. Without a car: near bus stop. Great AC, balcony, kitchen, wash basin and clothes line. Second floor, private stairway. BEST meal at Restaurant El Chante on pedestrian alley: Casado plates for $7-10 in 2023. Cocktails two for $6. Compared to Restaurant El Avion with view meals $30+. Anoranzas (means nostalgia) is safe, clean, not glamorous. Gravel parking lot. Happy local dogs, puppies and people! Suggest freeze water bottles/plastic cups for ice. Reserve Nat'l Park $18 entrance online 2+ weeks ahead. Not strict on entrance time. Cannot bring plastic bottles or food into park. Park open til 4pm, but beaches in park close at 3pm.
