"We've been to the "go-go" big resort like the SLS BAHA MAR a couple of times before .... then we found this small upscale boutique resort As seniors, this is a marked contrast much for the better: peace and quiet is NEVER a bad thing . Highly recommended for the traveller looking for a refined quiet secluded getaway. PS the spa treatments are fab with a special shoutout for Lynn Lowe as a "must do""

"Great property great staff, a big pricey on things but overall worth it for a family with young kids, take advantage of water park, British colonial property as well, stay away from fish fry, the pizza place franks on the property is great."

"Baha Mar feels like it is trying very hard to be the Las Vegas of the Bahamas. It is distractingly expensive, even charging $4 for hot water. There are no restaurants specifically for families with kids. There is a pizza restaurant and a noodle restaurant, but the minimum bill for a family of 3 is still $150. The resort is focused around its giant casino. It has a large waterpark, which is why we selected it, but its waterpark is better suited for older kids with the surf park and rides over 48”. It has two more extreme rides that are for single riders, but both need technical maintenance. My son rode both and ended up with huge scratchs down his back from bad joints and bad maintenance. He did not ride either of the extreme slide more than once. The food around the pool is fine, but nothing special and averages $18-$22/burger with cokes at $10. We expected expensive, but they are taking advantage of guests. The bartenders around the pool are on average disinterested in creating drinks and very interested in not doing anything, let alone their jobs. We tried several different bars, always focusing on being polite and appreciative towards them and were always dismissed. Each drink is also accompanied by a mandatory tip and resort fee, so your $18 mai tai costs $22 without any additional tip for the bartender. We were equally distracted by the overly expensive specialty restaurants. The sushi restaurant asked $50 for a Hawaii roll that costs $22 at home."

From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make our trip special and stress-free.Before we even landed, Simone arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport. She also helped organize a car rental for us and provided support throughout our entire stay.I mentioned that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and Simone surprised us with a thoughtful gift to enjoy while exploring the island. As if that wasn’t enough, she also left Starbucks vouchers for us, a small gesture that perfectly reflects her kindness and attention to detail, like her whole oasis, with details that males you feel extremelly welcome and at home.The property itself was wonderful, located in a very safe neighborhood within walking distance of downtown, beautiful beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. We felt comfortable and at home from day one.What truly sets this stay apart is Simone’s unique way of caring for her guests. She genuinely wants you to have the BEST possible experience and thinks of every detail before you even have to ask. Her warmth, generosity, and hospitality made our trip unforgettable.If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate for a second. We would return in a heartbeat.
