"Came to Baha Mar for a short getaway. Easy to get to from the airport. Great restaurants, pools and beaches. Everything is rather expensive (meals, drinks, etc) but probably par for the course. Definitely planning on coming back. "

"This hotel is not all-inclusive. Buffet is about 42 USD. Taxis are available at the hotel but may cost you between 40-50 USD dollar a trip. Fort Charlotte is close by. Marriott provides an easy walk to the beach and to the cable beach strip, wherein lies Junkanoo Beach. Easy walk to twin brothers and other small shops to buy mango smoothies, jelly-coconut, fast food, good cook food, and more. The people on the side of the road sell cheaper souvenirs than in shops like Twin Brothers. Try to eat at cheaper venues that still give a great taste of the Bahamas. "

"My husband and I spent 6 nights at this beautiful home. The location is in an upscale neighborhood and felt vey safe and secure. The large unit we occupied was very clean and comfortable with every household amenity you can imagine. The pool was sublime! The pool area was a tropical paradise with a hilltop view of Atlantis and the cruise ships in the distance, as well as floats for the pool, a bbq grill, table, chairs, etc. With all that being said, our Hostess, Ms. Angela, was the star of this property! She welcomed us upon our arrival, gifted us with a glorious basket of goodies, and checked in with us regularly to ensure our comfort and to answer any of our questions. She went so far as to offer and provide rides for us. Although beaches are within walking distance, a car is recommended at this location. We often used taxi service to get around the island.- with no issues. The Bahamian people we met were so warm and friendly. It was our fist time in the Bahamas and we look forward to returning to expand our time on some of the other 699 islands. We HIGHLY recommend this property! And if you are lucky, Ms. Angela, will be home and can provide you with an enhanced VRBO experience- all while totally respecting your privacy and being unintrusive."

"Room was very clean. Amenities were as stated. Host is very responsive and a good communicator. Location is in a more dated part of town and it's difficult to get taxis there.However you can reach out to the host for help with that. "
