"Fine hotel well situated"

"Almost all was outstanding during our stay at this beautiful hotel. We found great value in our selection of a gold room which included the breakfast, evening hors d’oeuvres and beverage lounge. We are very clean people who appreciate a very clean room upon arrival. That we received. We did not leave behind a messy room AND we left a generous gratuity for housekeeping for their excellent attention during our stay. There was only one problem, although it was a big problem. Within one hour of checking out of the hotel, we realized we left something in the room. We called immediately and asked for it to be held at the front desk as we would be returning in a few days and we would pick it up. The item was never turned in as found property. I find this very disheartening."

"What I liked: 1. Very spacious room: The room has two chairs, several lamps, blackout curtains, and ample closet space. 2. Gym: The gym has several cardio machines and several cable machines. There are dumbbells up to 50 pounds. There are two free benches. The sauna is large and coed. The pool is large enough for 3 lanes and maybe 4. 3. Security: There was always staff at the front. Keys are needed to use the elevators. 4. Proximity to tourist attractions: It's a 25 minute uphill walk from here to Old Montreal tourist attractions. I took a cab each time to get there. Cabs arrived in less than 5 minutes each time. 5. Proximity to food: There are numerous cafes, pastry spots, and several restaurants within 10 minutes walk."

"Nicely located just outside old quebec"

"I cannot begin to describe how incredible our stay was. The area was very close to all the action, the room was much bigger than we could’ve anticipated, it was clean, had all the amenities we needed, and the staff were very helpful. For anyone staying in Quebec City, I would 100% recommend this place. I will definitely be coming back!"

"The pool was amazing and the staff were amazing! The location is great too as well as the croissants at the restaurant. The room was a bit stuffy and shabby, probably due to the age of the building. We would prefer not to have bibles left in the bedside tables. "

"Loved the character of this hotel. It had an antique feel with old world charm. Since the building was a bit older you do hear foot steps and voices a little bit more but it was what I expected from this type of building and didn’t bother us. We never once saw a staff member but they communicated through text and checked in very often. The contactless check in was very easy and we were really happy with their communication and attentiveness. Everything in our room was plugged into 1 extension cord which wasn’t ideal, if we turned on the lamp the fridge made noises and while making coffee the lights would flicker. But it didn’t cause any issues. The location was great as there were so many restaurants in walking distance and easy to get around. Over all we had a great stay, the value for what we paid was very reasonable and would stay again."

"Lovely stay. Property is great, only suggestion would be to have an adults only time slot for spa area - pool/ sauna/ cold plunge as there were many children and they were not always following protocols in those areas. So not as relaxing for couples looking to unwind at the spa. "
