This is not a 4 star hotel, but if you're ok with no amenities and a clean bed, this is a great place. We had a superior room so plenty of space, the building is very old so don't expect a modern interior. We'd stay here again if were ever coming back, 5 star location.

Room was clean and quite large and thankfully only on the second floor out of 4 floors as there is no elevator. Check-in service was easy even with no staff on sight but some questions can take up to 12 hrs to respond on the app. Breakfast provided was good with many cold and hot options and at the sister hotel across the street. Great location being in old Quebec city. City garage parking is close by but down quite a hill. Recommend dropping off luggage as there is short term parking across the street before parking vehicle.

Other than a cleaner, I saw no other staff. The room was clean but clearly not decorated for quite a while: paint peeling off the woodwork. The location was perfect: easy walking distance to the major sites. The cafe on the corner (Nili) does a good coffee and basic breakfast. There was no evidence of breakfast at the hotel, despite their site saying there was. The sound between rooms carries!

Pros: Room was large, clean, really comfortable beds, ideally located to walk to everywhere, good water pressure, linens were okay and there was a small refrigerator available though we didn’t use it, check in and out were simple. Cons: part of ceiling looks like it is about to fall down, bathroom doesn’t have a useable bath tub unless bathing a child. Shower only. If you expect a full size, useable tub make sure you are not booked into room 350.

Great location. Bed was comfortable and clean, room is clean too but overall the property is not well maintained esp the bathroom. You'll be comfortable though. All self-serve from check-in to check-out which is convenient. No staff around, you need to call and leave a message. I asked to have my room cleaned but they only removed garbage and replaced towels. They did not fix the bed or put in fresh coffee, mugs or glasses. Minimal English TV channels so bring your device. Wifi is strong.

Room 250 has tall ceiling and relatively clean. The room is noisy. You hear other guests walking beside and above the room. Being right beside the front entry/foyer, you hear all the loud thumps of the front doors opening and closing. The room has limited walking space around the queen and double beds.
