"Had a really great two weeks here at Le Telfair. Spa facilities were excellent. I have enjoyed the best massage and reiki treatments. Staff here work hard and are always friendly and helpful. We have loved it. "
"Came with the family for UK half term to get some winter sun and we all loved the place! Great boutique hotel - simple but perfect room for the 5 of us to stay in - lovely grounds and pool - and right on its own beach with sun loungers and sun sofas overlooking the crystal clear waters. Would definitely return. "
"Grounds and beach were lovely. Options for eating were poor. We did not go all inclusive do paid MUR 3700 for the buffet for 2. Very expensive for bland food, puddings were gelatinous and ice cream full of ice chips. Very disappointing food. Pool lovely. Beach and walks nice "
"The property gardens are stunning. The food, even if they did not have a vast selection, was amazing.
The rooms could use a renovation. Nothing was broken or anything, but you could see the wear and tear on the furniture."
"Amazing location at one of the most beautiful beaches we have witnessed during our vacation in Mauritius. The hotel complex is very pretty and well designed (pools, bars, ...). Despite the 5* rating of the hotel the rooms are rather outdated and could more well maintained (e.g., light switches, doors, old A/C, ..). The effort/extras the hotel provided during our honeymoon were amazing and stood out from other hotels. "
"From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism.
From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff, they were all fantastic, attentive, friendly and genuinely cared. They looked happy and smiling all the time.
Our rooms, booked 4 rooms, were spotless, beautiful and very comfortable. Housekeeper did a fantastic job through our stay.
The activities were OK. The night entertainment should be better.
We'll definitely be back and highly recommend Solana Beach Hotel. "
"Very nice hotel, lots of options for activities and food. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and always polite. A few minor issues were dealt with promptly. "

"Our stay at LUX was exceptional. The amenities are clean, the staff is ultra nice. The beach in front of the hotel is probably the best we’ve visited. We were there for our honeymoon and for my husband’s birthday and we were spoiled with so many surprises, like champagne, cake, massages, cocktails mixing class and a number of other things. There is also so much to do, that if you wish, you don’t have to leave the hotel. There is a program with number of events every day - for children and for adults. We visited the spa, used the tennis court, went to the cinema night. Everything was perfect during our stay."
"We had the absolute pleasure of getting married at Lux Le Morne, and it was truly one of the best experiences of our lives. Travelling to Mauritius to get married just the two of us felt like a big step, and we were initially a little nervous about whether we’d chosen the right place. But we didn’t need to worry. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at ease and supported us every step of the way.
A special thank you to Manie, Hermant, and Bianca from Celebration Corner. They were outstanding. Every detail had been thought through with such care, and their warmth and professionalism made the whole experience feel effortless and personal. Hermant’s photography skills are second to none. He captured our day so naturally and beautifully, and gave us memories we’ll treasure forever.
One of the standout moments was our private wedding meal in the treehouse on the beach. The setting was magical, and it was made even more special by our brilliant waiter, Neelesh, whose friendly and attentive service made the evening unforgettable.
We genuinely loved every minute of our time at Lux Le Morne. It’s a place full of beauty, calm, and heart, and we’ll always look back on it with the happiest of memories."
"Wonderful beachfront resort with excellent staff and amenities. We just returned from a 4 day stay and the only downside was that the trip was not longer. Large spacious rooms, lovely well kept grounds, super friendly and helpful staff, great selection of restaurants and food and daily activity programs. Highly recommend this beautiful, well run resort. "

"We travelled from Australia and stayed at this beautiful hotel in Mauritius, let me tell you hands down this is one of the best hotels I have been to with breathtaking sea views, private beach, beautifully unique designed hotel and best five star in class service.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a friendly smile. All the staff were very helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you to the reception staff and management for helping us plan our days accordingly to what we liked.
Thank you to security at the front of the hotel for your exceptional service and friendly smiles each day.
Thank you to the hotel staff for ensuring our room was clean and tidy to perfection each day.
There is one highlight that we will never forget which is the dine in at the Tek Tek restaurant with our own private chef. The six course menu was inspired by the islands rich culture and let me tell you the food was on another level with the combination of flavours the dishes were perfection. Each dish was made with love from the Chef. Thank you Chef Shiva and Helper Karan for the most wonderful night and dine in experience you both made our experience staying at Mauritius incredible. We hope to see you both again soon.
If you would like a luxurious stay I definitely recommend staying at this hotel. 🙂"

5/5 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel in Le Morne. Building is new and in very good condition. The staff was amazing every time, from checkin to breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar service.
Pools are nice and there are plenty of sunbeds around, in case the ocean is not welcoming. Food was very good, with plenty of choices. The RIU app is not the best, but that’s not something this hotel can fix. "

"A beautiful quiet location, we were able to relax which was the purpose of our trip. Staff were amazing, friendly and did everything they could for you. Pools were kept clean and plenty of loungers there and on the beach. Only negative is price of taxis to get anywhere but that is no reflection on the hotel. Would highly recommend "

"Wonderful stay at C Mauritius. The service at this hotel is unmatched. Definitely the best I’ve received at any hotel.
Every single staff member goes out of their way to provide excellent service with a smile and warm greeting.
The food was excellent and varied every day from breakfast to dinner. Fantastic vegetarian options . Great fruit selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean rooms. Beautiful grounds and a beautiful beach. Pedaloe, paddle boarding and kayaking included.
The only improvement I could suggest is having at least one freshly squeezed fruit drink option included in all in inclusive or at least at one meal for guests who do not drink alcohol.
Special mention to the below staff members who helped make the stay so lovely but there were definitely more but I didn’t get their names ! Thank you!
- Queen gave us a fantastic welcome and was helpful throughout stay
- Anastasia who always remembered my name
- John, driver for south tour
- Abhilesh who insisted on getting a special drink made for us as we didn’t drink alcohol
- Sunil who was always so kind at dinner
- Danny and deeya at the tours desk
- Sharah from housekeeping was lovely
- Phoebe was always so helpful
- Raj was a true gentleman when taking care of our bags

"Everything about this hotel was on point. The facilities, service, food, kids club. JD the wellness staff member was exceptional and deserves recognition. Because of him we knew all about the hotel, facilities and ability to use the wellness centre at the spa free of charge. Without him we would not have known this. Kids club had kids eat free which was another lovely bonus. Well done Lux a great family holiday had for all the family :-)"
