Vila Gale Marina Resort Hotel

"Well located hotel. Some areas could benefit from refurbishment. No irons within room and none available at reception so had to buy one locally. Breakfast was great. Used as a gold base hotel so make sure you time breakfast so you don’t get caught up in the rush! Would stay again due to price and location."

"Wonderful view from our room. Very close to the marina and a local, stunning beach. A few swimming pools available. Great stay , breakfast and cleanliness. Staff were wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful."

"Hotel renovation looks very good. Hotel staff helpful and friendly and the hotel and grounds are well kept and clean. Breakfast buffet very nice, everything kept clean and fresh. Pool area lovely and lovely gesture of complimentary snack in afternoons. Would definitely stay again."

"The room was clean and cleaned daily. The walk in shower was nice. The beds were comfortable. The ladies on reception Ana and Magarida were very good at explaining the kay out of the building and where to travel during the stay. The breakfast buffet was good but limited cooked food. The pool was great."

"The room was immaculate and perfect for our family of four. The staff were just delightful and I cannot praise them enough. The pool slightly run down but it is due to be done again at end of season. 100% would stay over and over again!"

"This place was great. The staff were super friendly. The Hotel was perfect location to reach everything we wanted to reach. We had a rental car which opened us to explore what the local scene had to offer. Beaches, Night markets, Supermarkets, Late night local Ice creams shops, Festivals, the lot! Underground parking was excellent at keeping the car cool. Rental towels (10 euro Cash deposit each) were very convenient as we were travelling very light. The Aqua Park was great fun. Be sure to check your child's height. 140cm + gets you full access to everything. Sub 120cm excludes some of the rollercoasters and big slides. Sub 110cm excludes a lot of the slides. Only a few Kiddy slides left to explore. A quick 5 min walk to the park. Wrist bands get you straight it. You will have to leave your stuff unattended if you plan on moving around the park as a family. Or you can rent a locker for 10euro per day. But everyone leaves their stuff on the grassed area and there seems to be a level of trust amongst everyone. We left our towels, phones and flip flops and never had anything missing."

"A great experience except when checking out. I had paid my bill the evening before and when leaving the keys back on the next morning was made to feel like I was trying to escape without paying by the nighttime reception person I had to find my payment details from evening before to prove payment. Surely this should have been noted on the computer. It left a very poor impression on what had been an excellent trip"
