"We only had 2 nights and were fairly busy so we didn't get to enjoy the area and the property too much. But if you're looking for a place to hide and crash, do some surfing, walks on the beach, have a great coffee from the coffee truck right across the road, watch something on Netflix from a cozy chair when it's all done, this is your spot! Btw... my pregnant partner couldn't get over the self-warming toilet seats! :-D"

"Fantastic stay in New Brighton. We loved being near He Puna Taimoana, going for walks on the beach and discovering the local wetlands. We enjoyed the local cafes and found a great Thai place.The apartment is very comfortable and well set up. Our older son loved having his own space, and everything works well and has been carefully thought out. As an added bonus, the little desk is PERFECT for writing - I'd think about coming back on my own for an extended writing retreat.The design of kitchen, bathroom and storage spaces works well, and having the apartment spread over three stories makes it feel special. Communication with the manager was excellent - warm, responsive and friendly. Nothing felt like a problem. Highly recommended - we'd love to stay here again."
