"This property has been very well maintained - it is the same in 2026 as it was 15 years ago with several original staff members. One of the best changes, couples only, no kids. It's a very chill & relaxed boutique hotel with fabulous rooms. The staff is friendly & accommodating. Don't like your pillow? Well, there's a pillow menu to choose from! Want something to eat at 2am? There's 24/7 room service! Want a delicious steak? Go to the steak house and for goodness sake, DO NOT MISS the Agua Viva hydrotherapy, or 90 minute massage in the spa AND YES PLEASE have a taco from the taco truck every single day! Things I would change? I would bring back the mini ice cream scoops for dessert. I would make the drinks a little stronger to begin with (I'll just come back for a topper). *keep in mind, this property is meeting the palate of many people, so food often seems bland - just add s&p and a little hot sauce!)"

"Great stay. I have stayed at a lot of secrets. It did not disappoint. I am a beach person and would have really liked better beach shade on the non preferred side. Most of them have it. The umbrellas were just not like the huts. Restaurants all great. I didn’t like the drive in the golf cart to there restaurants but the layout just doesn’t permit them within walking distance. Beautiful place. Nice pools. Plenty of seating. Great staff."

"Loved the ocean beach. Servers came frequently to ask your beverage orders and fresg coconut water from the husk. Rooms were cleaned daily & fresh towels were plentiful at the beach. Loved the swim bars at the main pool. Excellent services to throughout my 5-day stay June 2026 at Playa de las Mujeres at Excellence Hotel in Punta Sam, Mexico. Staff was very accommodating and courteous."

"Amazing staff. Amazing property. If you want absolute luxury and comfort this is your hotel. From the heated toilets with built in bidets to the amazing stone jacuzzis, from the fantastic hammocks to the pool lounge chairs and umbrellas, absolutely no expense was spared here. If you want an all inclusive with gourmet food and fantastic attentive service, look no further than Hotel Mousai."
