Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort - All Inclusive

"My husband, two children, and I arrived expecting a relaxing all-inclusive vacation, but our experience has been extremely disappointing from the start.Our first room was unacceptable. The main door handle was broken, the air conditioning did not work, and both refrigerators were not functioning, leaving everything warm. Neither bathroom was properly stocked with toilet paper, towels, or washcloths.We reported the issues immediately. The supervisor seemed annoyed and said they would be fixed, but nothing was done after waiting a long time. My husband returned to request a new room, and we were eventually moved, but the second room was only slightly better and still far below expectations.After dealing with room issues for hours, we went to eat. Most restaurants required reservations 14 hours in advance, leaving only the buffet. The food was very poor. We then tried the sports bar, where we ordered a cheeseburger, nachos, chicken wings, and chicken tenders. The burger was undercooked, and the chicken items appeared unsafe and poorly prepared. Additionally, this resort advertises as all-inclusive, yet many drinks require extra payment with only a limited selection included. Overall, the service, food quality, and accommodations have been extremely disappointing. For the $5,000 spent, the experience does not reflect the standard expected of a resort of this type. They let people smoke cigarettes everywhere in resort including lobby with young children, nasty. Terrible ZERO STARS"

"This resort was beautiful. We had a great time. We loved the pools, the beach, Mike’s coffee shop, the gym, the evening activities and the restaurants. The staff was amazing. Miguel Garrido was so helpful. He took care of our dinner reservations and was available to answer any questions we had. Berwyn at the privilege pool took great care of us too! Everyone was so friendly. We really liked the breakfast at the buffet, especially the Dominican food options. The buffet always had plenty of variety. We enjoyed our dinners at the Steakhouse and Sakura the best. We are looking forward to our next visit to Ocean El Faro!"

"Overall staff were/are amazing. Be careful of the beachside bars if ordering food and you have a gluten allergy. Not all waiters understood the issue and ordering was difficult. The finer dining restaurant servers are well versed in food intolerance/allergies and the meals were/are amazing. Everyone, from check in to gardeners to bartenders were friendly and strived to make our stay amazing."

"Nuestra estadía fue excelente de principio a fin. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, amplias y siempre estuvieron impecablemente limpias. Las instalaciones del hotel se encuentran bien cuidadas y el ambiente es agradable y acogedor. Quiero destacar especialmente el trato amable y profesional de todo el personal, quienes siempre nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos. Sin embargo, merece una mención muy especial Marleni, una persona excepcional. Desde nuestra llegada estuvo siempre atenta a cada detalle, pendiente de nuestras necesidades y dispuesta a ayudar con una sonrisa. Su amabilidad, dedicación y calidez humana hicieron que nuestra experiencia fuera aún más especial. Personas como ella marcan la diferencia y reflejan el verdadero espíritu de servicio del hotel. En general, el hotel es excelente y sin duda lo recomendaríamos a familiares y amigos. Como sugerencia de mejora, consideramos que las actividades de recreación podrían ser más variadas, especialmente en el área de la piscina, para ofrecer una experiencia aún más entretenida a los huéspedes.
