"We had a nice stay, enjoyed the room with the fireplace and jacuzzi. Very friendly staff: the 2 gentlemen at the reception, the young man how was working at the bar and the old lady that was serving breakfast."
"Instalaciones y arquitectura muy lindas, el área del spa excelente y sus jardines encantadores con los colores del otoño!!
El desayuno delicioso, gran variedad de panes."
"We stay at hotels over 60 days a year and have done so for the last 30 years plus. In that time, we have probably checked out early of 3 hotels. This is one of them.
I totally feel for the staff who are fielding complaints. It is not there fault. The hotel feels unfinished, like they have run out of money. In fact there is no road yet to the hotel. The main issue is that the walls are paper thin. By this, I mean tbat you can hear conversations outside the room at the far end of the corridor. When you ontroduce squelling children and people having a party, expect to have no sleep. My wife is on chemo and rest is very important, we requested a quiet room but it was impossible to sleep. The noise is not just from the side rooms but above and below as there is zero sound insulation. It geeks like you are all sleeping in one big hall. The bathroom is poorly finished and dirty. The bath flexes when you stand on it.
We left after one night and had yo repurchase another hotel...it was that bad. The hotel refused a refund. Breakfast is dire."
"I walked there from the bus station at night. Just followed my Google maps directions and got there just fine, but took 15 minutes. Staff was incredible, place was super cute and clean and even had a welcome drink. They arranged a glacier tour for me for the following morning, and that went great. The breakfast was a big spread with lots of buffet options and the views were great. Amazing place for the price. Highly recommended."
"It was so-so but not expensive...
The breakfast was decent. Many pastry options, eggs, juices, fruit.
We had dinner the first night, pizza and pasta - neither was good but to be fair the pizza was consistent with what we saw at other places so maybe that's how they like it (3x cheese, little sauce, finger think sausage).
First week of April it was just above freezing outside. The room had radiator heating which was too hot and dry. The first thing I did was turn it off and open the window which was better but so-so. We were there 3 nights and the wife woke-up with a nose-bleed the first morning, probably the dry air. She was ok the next 2 nights. The room condition was dated but if you remove grandma's bed cover it was ok. The mattresses were not comfortable.
WiFi and cellular reception were good.
We rented a car and parking was easy. Without a car the location would be awkward - maybe ok with an Uber. I'd guess it's roughly 1.5 miles from the center of town and it was often windy/rainy so not the most walkable. Weather changes quickly there.
I saw a sign for a massage at a reasonable rate but when I asked the front desk at 5pm if I could get one the guys kind of laughed. I asked if it's too late and they said yes. Ok... no offer to book one for later etc.
If you do a car rental at the airport, beware that "Rent-a-car Argentina" is actually "EuropCar". Neither the Expedia nor Car Rental directions mentioned this, I had to ask someone - I reported it to Expedia."
