"The condition of the building is tired. All the sash windows had broken sash chords. The heating on a cold night was barely adequate - I got into a comfortable and clean bed to keep warm. Lovely towels on a heated towel rail made it a pleasure getting out of the shower. I was kept waiting 45 minutes for breakfast because the chef was not informed I was going to be there . "Would recommend this to anyone! Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful bed, so comfy. Lovely large room with tea & coffee making, ironing board, iron, and a jar of jelly beans! Very clean. Had a meal in the restaurant with friends. It was delicious. I had cottage pie, our friends had the pork stuffing pie, great desserts and was not overpriced either."
