"The room was so cute and clean. I've been in several "suites" at other hotels that basically had a bed and a couch in the same room. This has a little living room and the bedroom is separate. Everything was clean and it smelled clean when I walked in. They have designated parking in front of your door, which is great because you don't have to search for a parking spot and not end up far from your room. There are no amenities at this hotel or food. However, you know this information when you researched the hotel. It is perfect for a family to come and stay and spend their day out and about exploring the area. Even for multiple nights. We will stay here again if we decide to have a close getaway."

"From the moment we arrived at The Cottage, it exceeded every expectation. We got a surreal view of the sunset on the water as soon as we checked in! The space itself was stunning — tastefully designed, spotlessly clean, and stocked with every amenity we could have asked for. Plenty of high-quality linens (even some cozy spa robes!), a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and comfortable furniture. Waking up each morning to the soothing and relaxing view felt like a genuine treat.The location was perfect, Bristol was a quick and scenic drive to Newport where we spent some time checking out historic attractions. Everything we needed was within easy reach — great dining and local coffee shops. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the hosts. Michelle was incredibly responsive — answering every question promptly and going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Before we even arrived, she shared a curated list of local restaurant recommendations, which we ended up checking out and really enjoying! (We had brunch at The Beehive, which was lovely.) The thought Michelle and Bob put into setting up The Cottage made it clear they genuinely care about their guests' experience. Every detail was taken care of. Check-in was seamless, the property was exactly as described (if not better!), and we left feeling completely refreshed and well taken care of. We will absolutely be returning the next time we are in the area. If you're considering this rental, don't hesitate."

"Jan & John were wonderful hosts. Communication was great; they were available for any questions or needs. The house was clean, lovely & had everything you’d need for your stay, including toiletries. The beds were on the softer side for us, but it’s a very individual thing. The master has a sleep number bed that helped. One thing to be aware of is that the windows, while they give a beautiful view, don’t have blinds on them. So you’ll be waking at the first sign of light, especially upstairs in the master suite! Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the outside given the weather but the views were beautiful. Would have loved to just sit outside with coffee and watch the water. Location was great—short drives to Bristol, Newport, etc. Neighborhood quiet. Thank you Jan & John for sharing your home!"

"The carriage house apartment was clean, private, and in a great location in Bristol. We had ample space in the living room/bedroom/kitchen area. The bathroom was a bit small and did not have good lighting, but was sufficient and not a deal breaker for staying there again. Cara was very communicative and helpful when we needed her."

"We had an excellent stay in Bristol, RI. The cottage was perfect for our needs. We slept very well after a long day of rugby at Beast of the East. The house was clean and well equipped. The communication from our hosts was top notch. We will stay again if we attend the tournament next year."

Our hosts were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions. If my daughter decides to go the Law School here we will definitely be back."

"An absolute wonderful place to stay. Clean, close to everything, friendly. Had a 5 inch snow storm while we were there and they went out of their way to make sure snow was cleared ( told them they didnt have to)Also loaned us a car sweeper to remove the snow from overnight."
