"Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings."

"Great location for experiencing one of the great food areas of the world and a short drive to some wonderful small cities and experiences. host was very helpful and responsive to all needs. Please remember this is a working farm surrounded by other farms and hard working people and is an a authentic experience than staying in a hotel."

"Paolo’s property was perfect for me and my family. It is clean, spacious and very well presented. It is a perfect location for exploring the Garfagnana region and close to plenty of local amenities. "Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. Highly recommend."

"I get the feeling the owners have just bought this house & are just starting to rent it out. It seems they have upgraded some parts of the apartment but others are old i.e. the kitchen doors look new, but the carcasses are very old. The lounge felt like it was missing a tv. There was a sofa for 2 facing a wall, with your back to the views of the hills, which felt odd. Personally, when I book an apartment for 4 people I expect 4 people to comfortably be able to sit in the lounge at the same...

"E' una casa unica e, contestualizzata, il top. Arrivo: Google Maps è impreciso. Attivati alla meta, ti chiede di svoltare a dx, invece mantenete la stessa sponda e girate dopo 50 m. Agibilità: l'accesso è un po' sconnesso, consigliato a chi ha buone gambe. Casa: è arredata con stile e accuratezza. Non si è lesinato sull'impiantistica che è all'avanguardia. Pompe di calore ok. Wifi ok. Riscaldamento a termosifoni: insufficiente e soprattutto va acceso ben prima: in ingresso 14 gradi. Dotazioni...

"Nice apartment and great outdoor terrace in a small town. There was a wonderful view over the valley. The apartment belongs to a friendly lady and her husband. We had a great time and can highly recommend the place."

Nice hotel on the outskirts of town

"Lovely modern hotel on the outskirts of town with large and spotlessly clean room which is well insulated, bathroom has big walk in shower and car park is directly in front of the room which is handy. Good breakfast with plenty of choice and one night we ate in the restaurant where they serve huge portions of delicious food. Special mention must go to the staff who are very pleasant."
