"We had one of those days where if it could go wrong it did and Deanna at the Marina Motel saved the day. We called to confirm the reservation before we drove out there and after hearing about our day she not only confirmed the reservation, but when we got there she'd moved us into a bigger room. She went above and beyond to make the stay special for us and our kids. "

"If you’re headed to Seward this is the absolute best place to stay. I am absolutely in love with this quiet remote place. It is nicely tucked away in the middle of the woods. The owner Gary is usually in the office when you enter. He is warm, informative and extremely pleasant to deal with. He had two assistants that were equally as pleasant and helpful. The cabins were well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. The place was safe, well kept and just a dream get away for anyone who desire a nice remote and homely stay. There is no wifi in most of the cabin areas but we used that as a mental break from screens and an opportunity to focus on the nature in front of us. The mountains and lake was within 5 minutes walk from our cabin. Kayaking is available on the premises. My husband who is an avid New Yorker and started off reluctant fell in love with this place and is looking forward to another visit. There was absolutely nothing negative I could say about this place. Thanks Gary for allowing us a little slice of your world. "
